Indication
To meet energy needs as both total and parenteral parenteral nutrition especially during increased metabolic processes and as additional nutrients to meet electrolyte requirements.

Dossage
- Maximum dosage: 25 ml / kg body weight / day.
1750 ml / day for patients weighing 70 kg. - Maximum infusion rate: 2 ml / kg body weight / hour. 45 - 50 drops / minute for patients weighing 70 kg. The maximum dose is equivalent to 3 g of fructose or 6 g total carbohydrate / kg body weight / day. During the provision of total parenteral nutrition, ½ is given first dose then the rest is followed by an interval of at least 2 hours. The infusion rate is equivalent to 0.25 g of fructose or 0.5 g of total carbohydrate / kg body weight / hour. |

Precaution
- Giving blood glucose levels is recommended especially for diabetics
Mellitus. - During long-term or high-dose use, care should be taken of compliance Increased phosphate requirement. - Examination of kidney function should be done before the use of this drug. - Be careful of use in patients with heart failure, kidney failure, patients with Reduction of urine production, patients with hepatorenal disorders. |
